Where it gets a voice
Less the page, more the voice — the pitches, the stages, the anchoring, and the verse. Everything here is meant to be watched or heard, not read.

Off the clock — a song I love, for the joy of it.

Poetry to life
My words off the page and into voice — two poems set to music and sung, and three short films made with @jurrat_aamoz: a ghazal against a scene from Rockstar, a poem for mothers, and one about the alleys love takes you down.
Where it started
Illiterate but experienced
The first thing I ever published — a short essay in the Friday Kidz pages of the Central Chronicle, written at fourteen. It’s about a rag-picker named Anil, and what he taught me about the gap between literacy and experience. The voice is younger; the preoccupation hasn’t really changed.
The written versions of these — and a hundred and sixteen more — are in the poetry archive.
